The 3rd Annual NAACP Albuquerque Civil Rights & Diversity Conference was a great success. The Conference was held September
8th – 9th, 2017 at Embassy Suites Hotel & Spa. The Conference included national and local speakers addressing topics on civil and human rights, health disparities, voter education, youth empowerment, law enforcement and corrections, LGBTQ rights, coalition building, mayoral candidate forum and more.
City of Albuquerque, McCune Foundation, Professional Consulting Group, Loan Fund, UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center, Compassion & Choices, UNM Division for Equity and Inclusion, INTEL, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Interfaith Worker Justice – NM, Albuquerque Public Schools, Con Alma Foundation, City Councilors Davis, Gibson, Winter, and Benton.
